This could seriously revolutionize telecom, and the Ockhamist loves competition. The big surprise is how the FCC (leaping out of the pocket of AT&T) let this happen so quickly. Rural areas, particularly in the West, stand to benefit in the very near future.
Cincinasty is a start, with northern KY (near me) to recieve service in early 2005.
