I had been planning on purchasing a blackberry. I instead purchased a Palm Treo 650. It is good. I am well pleased.
Email (Gmail, POP), camera, video(with sound), web (WAP and HTML, java poorly), mp3 (32 mbs on-board; 512 mbs SD removable), bluetooth hands-free, word processing, calendar, et al.
Reception is MUCH improved over my Sony Ericsson. The new phone goes with me to Europe (quad- GSM). It has all the nerdy phone/PDA (Palm) stuff. The Gmail works great!!!!
It’s my spring toy, and some consolation after deciding not to go overseas this summer. But is signing a 2-year contract . . .
