May Day
Published by Jake Allen May 1st, 2005 in UncategorizedWe celebrate the first of May for three reasons:
1) Ancient pagan rituals.
2) Spring does not have enough holidays since Easter always falls on a Sunday.
3) The Haymarket Riots of 1886. “Workers” burned and looted Chicago like it was LA or something and we gave those pagan gangs (”Labor Temple“?) closed shops.
/I was in the AFL-CIO for a year.
May 1 is really a bad day.
Madness!

It’s also the RCatholic feast day of St. Joseph the carpenter and foster father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So not all is lost.
Hmmmm . . . well it is a good day to be indigenous.
Madness?
