Cinnabon to the rescue
Published by Jake Allen September 1st, 2005 in UncategorizedFocus Brands, including Cinnabon, Carvel, and franchise partners (including my company) are taking a leadership role in aiding the Red Cross in Hurricane Katrina disaster relief.
Companies are aiding with out-of-pocket help, employee payroll withholding, and other forms of monetary aid to the American Red Cross. In the more than two years I have been with the concept, this is the first nationwide corporate charity Cinnabon has been a part of (excluding the nominal school-based reading campaigns). For this change I am glad.
Cheers!

you work at cinnabon?
True. Over 2 years now. I manage the Cinnabon in Louisville, KY. From last November until a week ago I also managed the Cinnabon in Dayton, OH also; my choice to step down, btw. I lose almost nothing in the transition, and gain a LOT of my time and energy back.
Cinnabon is not the prestigious job every kid dreams of, but it’s taken take of me for some time now, and I have no compelling reason to leave anytime soon. Really, I’m living the good life!
Sure, women don’t respect “multi-unit food-service manager” the same way they would “fireman” or “astronaut”, but who needs women anyway, right? Oh yeah, Dr. Al Mohler says it’s my duty as a Christian to populate the earth. . . .
Madness!
