Sure, Feb. 14th is a Hallmark Holiday, but today is also the 17th anniversary of the Ruhollah Khomeini issuing a fatwa encouraging the death of Salman Rushdie.

It’s also the 57th anniversary of the first Knesset.

But you don’t want cultural literacy, do you? You want some chocolates and a hug, right?

    Actually, St. Valentine’s day is a Catholic feast day. I think we all ought to go to Mass.
