Base jumping from Macau

I’ve already had a full day, and it’s only 2:50pm. I’ll nap, stay out late, and then go to the airport late at night.
I went to Macau, hired a tour guide at the airport, and saw most of the island from his car in about five rough-and-tumble hours. Many adventures.
I jumped off a 233 meter (764.4 feet/0.145 mile) high platform on this building:
See all Macau photos here, except some of the jumping related ones. That’s Charlie on the left. He convinced me to jump with his smooth talk and midwestern USA accent. He’s from some dumpy little town in Ohio via Las Vegas. This is the largest “sky-jumping” location in the world. “Sky-jumping” involves falling with a metal cable attached instead of bungie. There was less free-fall than bungie jumping, with a lot of the fall retarded to a fast-with-tension pace, but this was MUCH higher. There were redundant cables and redundant brakes, or I probably would not have done it. probably.
I’m not claiming that the jump was the greatest thing ever, but you’ve never jumped off a building that high in a Communist country, hmmm?
Madness!

Hey captain, I have been praying for you while you have been in Hong Kong; I am having Jakester withdrawals. I see you base jumped….yayayayayayay! Look forward to hearing about the trip. jOy
Thats not a base jump mate, its a pussy version of a bungee
