I had wondered for some time how people who were not family (not married) bought property together without a corporation.  I wasn’t planning on it. No, I am just curious in the absurd.  Bankrate illuminates this, as it does so many issues. It explains to a woman how to buy a house with her boyfriend, yet protect herself in the probable future event of a break-up.  Not being married is easier than ever.

 Madness!

It seems to me that “buying the ring” would be easier. This guy didn’t even offer that as a piece of advice. Wow, living together is such a really really really bad idea. Really bad. And those who think it is a good idea are really really really misguided. (I cannot say “stupid” because I know so many smart people who have done it.)

    HA!

Why buy the cow if you can get the . . .? Anyway, um, yeah, getting married would be worse, because divorce costs are skyrocketing. You know, it’s the lawyers’ fault.

The guy didn’t offer that advice because he’s friends with the guy she’s living with. (Yeah, like Bill/Steve/Marty/Joel/Mike would go for that!)

    Madness!
