   Hahahah, nerd. You even have the podcast/techtv voice down.

   So how long do you plan to be there? Is this a career move, or just something cool to do for now?

   I had techtv in mind . . .

   I wondered who would be the first to call me a nerd.

   Language education is a career move, I think. Whether or not I am with this company or in Morocco for my career remains to be seen. It is indeed something cool to do for now.

   I signed a two year contract. There are a variety of possibilites for extention, and two years from now I expect there to be more possibilities since I will have more language and teaching skills.

   This addition of video is great! Are you sure your career move is not to host MTV? How about a “reality” TV show. Maybe you could be a writer for one of those real life shows.

   Congrats! That is so exciting. I have never been anywhere foreign. Well if you count the AZ/Mexican Border or Canada foreign than I qualify.

   Hey congrats! planning on learning some… what is it they speak over there… arabic? now THAT would be a good career move! CIA here you come…

   also I recommend CELTA. if you get a chance. CELTA = glad you did it.

   Arabic indeed. Actually, I understand that there are private sector jobs that do intelligence outsourcing that are easier to get, lower security, and pay much better. Of course, this all depends on me getting fluent in Arabic. I plan to, but . . . how do they say it? Life happens.

   Hey Jake,
   Great news! I hope you do well. Read up on how to deal with culture shock and stuff. Just because you have very good reasons and foundations for going, doesn’t mean you won’t have Bad China Morocco Days. Knowing how to press on and accept bad feelings without it ruining your work is key.

   It’s me again, and now got answers to my previous questions..didn’t take enough time to browse around.
   So it’s about your first month in here. When I read your post about teachign English, I thought that you were definitely with the peace corps.
   Not sure if there are any posts about your first impressions, I’ll have a look around.
