Snow, Rabat, but Always Coca-Cola
Published by jakeallen January 28th, 2007 in jake.allen.ockhamist.com, travel, Jake's Musings, Cultural Commentary, metablogging, Morocco, life update on Jake, picturesI have a new gallery of pictures, with snow in Meknes (my city; second snow in 7 years; it’s COLD), me in Rabat ice skating and bowling, a small march by children for rain, and some more pictures from my trip to the mountains, including some of the best ones. The rain march by the children was kind of scary, because we were in an alley in an old part of town, when these kids begin marching. Women began throwing water on the children, and the children became estatic because of it. They were marching right toward us!!! Fortunately, it had nothing to do with us or America, but was a cry of help for the drought to end. Whew! The rains came, by the way.
Madness!

Madness!

That has to be some of the cutest boys ever! Do you know enough Arabic to tell him that his shirt is untucked? Hope things are going well. P.S. it is cold here too!
