Some of my friends gave me a surprise going away party last night. It was nice. Thanks guys!  I always knew that everyone loved looking at my chin, heh heh.

It is so nice to be unemployed, as long as your new job starts in a month, and you have savings, credit card, family, and a roommate to take care of you until then.  If you’ve got that, then the goofing off is so, so sweet.

There was another murder in Louisville Saturday night. They found him in a car yesterday.  This is the 36th murder in Louisville this year. I think we are behind last year.  We have about one murder a week.  It’s about double the national average.
I’ll keep the rest of my reflections to myself.

First, a co-worker and friend of mine lost most of his belongings to a fire early this morning. Everyone is ok.  Lift him up! He has temporary housing but the five guys are looking for a new place to live.
